Response Interruption and Redirection (RIR) is a proven positive behavior support strategy that aims to redirect and replace unwanted behaviors with more appropriate alternatives. This workshop is designed to empower educators, special education professionals, and support staff with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively implement RIR to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will learn how to apply RIR techniques in a supportive and respectful manner to foster positive behavior change and enhance the learning environment.
